To determine the most accurate sizing for your belt, use the guideline below.

You will need to take a measurement of the belt you currently wear. The size of your belt is determined by measuring the length between the point, on your current belt, where the buckle meets the leather, and your most used prong hole. On a well worn belt, this hole is always clearly identifiable by the distinct kink impressed by the buckle through continued wear.

I will place the middle prong hole, in your new belt, at the exact length in which your most commonly used hole measures from the buckle of your current one. For heavier belts, I will add about an inch for weight compensation.

Lay your current belt out flat, and as straight as possible. You will need something to measure the length; A tailor’s measuring tape is best, but a regular tape measure will work fine.

Step 1

Lay Belt Out Straight

Step 2

The measurement starts exactly at the point where the edge of the leather begins, where wrapped around the buckle.

The Buckle Meets the Belt

Step 3

Denote the length at your most or currently used hole. For the example given, the size selected when ordering a belt would 36”.
