There’s an old saying, “Life begins where comfort ends.” Imagine… the spare room in a small duplex - boxes to the ceiling, bicycles, a kayak, countless totes and shelves full of - everything. And in the center of that room - a huge, hefty workbench, built by hand on the patio of that duplex. That is where I crafted my first leather item: A crude, dry, poorly stitched bifold wallet that I will cherish forever.
…Though I remember that crowded space with great fondness…
Today I’m committed to upholding standards of quality that I’ve learned in time, through trial and error, and a bit of creative ingenuity. It is my mission to continue to design new, original products that will stand the test of time, as well as convey a high level of class and aesthetic appeal.
As someone who is a natural outdoor adventurer and enthusiast, I place emphasis on adventure and exploration as a style in my work. My aim is to craft all of my goods to be ideal for use in nearly any environment one may find his or herself in. You finish crafting the product by putting it to the full extent of its use, and allowing it to tell your story, through its naturally developed scars and patina.
